Strawberry Cake Recipe
1 package white cake mix 1-4 ounce package strawberry jello 1 cup vegetable oil ½ cup water 4 large eggs ½ cup thawed, frozen or fresh strawberries
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan. Mix all ingredients together well and pour into the prepared pan. Bake about 35 to 40 minutes. Cool completely and then frost with Strawberry Icing.
Strawberry Cake Icing
½ cup room temperature butter 1 pound confectioner’s sugar ½ cup thawed frozen or fresh strawberries
Cream the butter; slowly beat in the sugar until creamy and smooth. Mix in the strawberries and spread over the cooled cake.
