Gingerbread Cake
Gingerbread Cake
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground ginger ½ cup shortening 1 egg 1 cup molasses ½ cup sugar 1 cup very hot water
Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 10-inch by 14-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
