Chai Spice Cake
You can add, subtract or substitute spices to your taste.
Set oven temp to 325F and turn it on NOW.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or bundt pan.
Baking time is about 1 hour 35-45 minutes.
Assemble these ingredients:
~ 1 cup softened butter
~ 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
~ 1 cup table sugar
~ 6 whole eggs
~ 3 cups flour
~ 1/2 teaspoon salt
~ 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
~ 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
~ 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
~ 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
~ 1/4 teaspoon pepper (white or black)
~ 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
~ 1/2 cup powdered coffee creamer
~ 3 teaspoons honey
~ 3/4 cup milk
~ 1/4 cup strong brewed tea
~ 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
Cream butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy.
One at a time, beat eggs into the sugar/butter mixture.
Combine the salt, dry creamer, baking powder and spices with the flour.
Combine the honey, liquid milk and tea.
Mix the creamed butter/eggs, dry and wet ingredients together by alternating each addition.
Gently but thoroughly stir the vanilla in last.
Coax mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 35-40 minutes. An inserted toothpick come should come out clean.
Cool the cake completely before removing it from the pan.

Chai Spice Glaze
~ 1/3 cup softened butter
~ 1 cup light brown sugar
~ 1/2 cup condensed milk
~ 1/16 teaspoon cardamom
Mix all ingredients, bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and beat until thickened.
Pour or drizzle over cooled cake while glaze is still hot.
